Yukon Home Physiotherapy is owned and operated by Leslie van Tongeren.  Leslie graduated with honours from the School of Medical Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, from the University of Manitoba in 2003. Since then, Leslie has worked in acute care hospitals, rehab hospitals, long-term care facilities, public home care, private clinics, hospital leadership and has provided medical-legal consultation related to future-cost-of-care.

 

Leslie has experience working with all age ranges from developmental paediatrics to geriatrics with both acute and chronic orthopaedic, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.  Leslie is passionate about optimizing the function of her patients to enable them to live their best life.
